I think possibly my favorite feature in all of Photoshop (and Lightroom / ACR) is one of the “little details”. The Targeted Adjustment concept (the subject of this tutorial) allows you to click and drag directly on image previews, in order to set the parameters for adjustments such as Curves and HSL. This can be both more accurate than changing slider values by hand, and at the very least, it tends to save us a lot of time because we’re clicking and acting directly on the areas we want changed.
